Nokomis Naturescape Gardens – Neighborhood Greening

The Nokomis Naturescape – original site of the Minneapolis Monarch Festival – is a 4 acre native planting on Lake Nokomis, installed in 1998 on the shores of northeast Lake Nokomis. These spectacular demonstration gardens are maintained by volunteers. Join us on Tuesdays throughout the season for fun and learning, garden maintenance–and an occasional ice cream cone!
